Crisis looks interesting - and it has Gillian Anderson.

Premiers tomorrow on NBC. The question is whether they can stretch what sounds like a 2 hour movie plot into a whole season and beyond. Apparently they had some problems with "script reworking" in production which doesn't bode well

Hmm.. that's not selling it very week. Hostages was a classic case of a movie plot stretched too far to fill a whole season and I got bored of The Following when it turned into a Villain of the Week show.

well if it makes it sound any better, Crisis was the second best tested pilot among audiences and critics at screenings for this season next to The Blacklist

I'm looking forward to 'The 100' and Gang Related.

Just checked out Resurrection, which looks promising but not really my type of show. Believe was ok.

    There is also Mixology.

    +1 was The 100
I was so looking forward to Believe, but I found it laughably bad.

Also to keep an eye out for is Salem, which looks bloody amazing!

I've just watched it. It was pretty good but a good pilot doesn't always make for a good show. Remember The Last Resort? Cracking pilot then it turned into a dog's dinner. The Blacklist is my favourite new show so if it's as good as that then I'll be happy.

Those who kill, shows early promise, though you do need to stick through what looks like a very formulaic first half to the initial episode, before it takes a much darker turn to the end

Jury is still out for me on Resurrection but at least you don't need subtitles

    Those I'm watching out for

    Silicon Valley

    Fargo

    Penny Dreadful

And the already mentioned The 100 & Crisis

    From Duck til Dawn

Follows very closely to the film from the one episode I've seen. Will probably need a few more episodes to establish a personality. But so far not horrible. But not amazing either,.

Are subtitles really an issue? Because the similar, but unrelated French series The Returned was brilliant...

Loved Believe watched the first two episodes late last night. I'm hooked already. Going to watch Crisis later. Also The Killing is good and ive got Red Road to try. Didn't like Mind Games far too shouty for me they really went on and on and on about the mind zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I tend to watch and surf at the same time, with the video in a window in the corner of my screen subtitles can be a pain, so a show really needs to grab my attention to warrant full screen.

I've now seen the first episode of Crisis. I found it very bad, a mix of hostages and the following :D

Initially I thought it was one of those shows where I might just be able to watch by rooting for the bad guys but as soon as they started in with the back story / excuse I just want them all to be taken out with a drone strike
