I've been reading that this year will mark 50 years since JFK was killed, will there be any documentaries or anything on (preferebly new!).
I could've sworn I read ages ago that there was (another) series/one-off film about the event or something similar.
A topic that continues to fascinate me!

I think everyone remembers where they were when Doctor Who started.
In many cases, of course, it was behind the settee.
I as not born to 2 weeks before 10th anniversary or dr who,jfk assassination.
This post might make some sense in a world where everyone has seen all of Red Dwarf and remembers every episode, in this world it doesn't mean a lot.
As for the OP, I assumed it had all been said over the years, expect repeats of lots of stuff that's been previously aired, I suppose.
Apart from maybe 9/11 I don't think a single day in history has been so minutely examined than 11/22/63.
Apart from a novel revisionist theory that LBJ did it with a Winchester from two cars back in the motorcade, it's all been done to death.
A number of TV shows, especially Sci-fi ones have done episodes to do with the Kennedy assassination. Quantum Leap is one which I remember.
I expect the BBC will show a documentary on it at least.
Missing out the slushy romance bit, obviously.
To put it in context, the biggest thing about it that was historic is that it was filmed. There have been other american presidents who were assassinated and none of them (including Lincoln: who's death was arguably more significant) get as much media treatment. The reason: no TV coverage.
Question "Name the famous person shot in Dallas"
Contestant "JR"
That post probably makes some sense to you.
Not seen that before, brilliant!
Even better would be the mini series, Kennedy, starring Martin Sheen, that was shown on ITV on the 20th anniversary. I don't remember it ever being shown again.
