I know it's early days but I think QPR had better start saving for that fine they'll have to pay when they go back into the Football League.

Yeah. They can't even look good against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Point taken but I doubt many PL teams will allow United to sweep them aside as easily as they did in that first half.

Maybe, this is a typical home performance (of old) so far though.

Di Maria really is a genius, even his mishits turn into assists.

4-0 now and there's still half an hour for QPR to endure.

    Absolutely awful performance from QPR

Take nothing away from united, but QPR are the worst team ive seen in a long time. Put money on them being relegated. Ferdinand is waaaaay past it. Mata made him look like a chump.

Manchester United looking good but will face tougher opposition than QPR....such as the Dog and Duck!

    :D

Can't argue with Gary on that one.

Well they should beat QPR, having spent 250 million + Falcaos wages.

Lets see how they get on against a top team.

United are playing like a team in a testimonial or charity match.

Assuming you're a United fan, are you so thin skinned about your club that you can't accept people saying that there will be more genuine tests of your new look side's credentials than QPR are mounting today?

No one is denying the fact that United have played superbly well today but you have to accept that the total ineptitude of your opponents has played some part in that.

Put on a performance like this against Chelsea or Man City and then people will sit up and take note.

Clearly, yes. You'd have to be a pretty blinkered fan not to be able to see that.

No dig at Di Maria who has been outstanding.

oh bore off neutrals are those that don't support either side.

If it bothers you go and discuss the match in your supporters thread.

Is this the end of the Harry and Hoddle 'dream team' of management?

The fourth goal highlighted why you can't judge United on this game - it was not even a lightning attack yet still Mata had the freedom of the penalty area. October and November will paint a clearer picture. United will at least build up some confidence from this rout.

Its a great thread idea because you cant have a discussion about the Premier League in general in the individual clubs threads. Its just not possible.

The name is wrong though because there is always going to be bias,-it should just be "Premier League 2014/2015 discussion Thread" or something like that-somewhere to go on Saturday/Sunday afternoons to comment on anything going on in any game fan or no fan.

Its going to be really interesting this year.

City - Aguero, Toure, Nasri, Silva, Navas, Dzeko, jovetic
Liverpool - Sturridge, Sterling, Balotelli, Coutinho, Markovic
Chelsea - Costa, Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle, Cesc
Arsenal - Ramsey, Wellbeck, Walcott, Ox, Wilshire, Ozil, Alexis
United - Rooney, RVP, Falcao, di maria, mata

They should all put teams like QPR to the sword.
