Just now on Radio 1 he said the following (didn't mention Ruth though!)

Eoghan - Never Forget
Alexandra - Relight My Fire
Diana - Patience
JLS - Back for Good
Rachel - Rule the world

    Hmm-JLS would have been better with Relight My Fire, Rachel will struggle with Rule The World- I am surprised no one is doing shine unless that is Ruth's song

    Yeah she could be. He said they have to have uptempo songs because 6 ballads would be boring and most of those above aren't uptempo so...

    I think Rachel COULD be amazing doing rule the world- she could do the gospel version maybe?

    I hope Ruth is doing shine :)

    I think Alex and Rachel should swap! I think Eoghan will really struggle with the high notes in that one. And, although I don't like Diana I think it's the perfect choice for her.

    Diana and Rachel are going to murder both of them songs...

    I'm a Diana fan... but Patience is going to be hard to hear....

    I think Alex has the song that best suits her at the moment...

    Agree about Rachel.
    My first thoughts about Diana and Alex were the opposite though. Excellent choice for Diana, hatchet job for Alex.

    If Alexandra Loleatta Holloways her way through Relight My Fire the way it was originally sung , it will work for her.It vocally wipes the floor with the Take That version.

    Rachel will struggle with Rule The World, in the same places she has struggled on most of her choices, all of which have similar slow and limited low range vocal lines that are still too much for her clumsy, limited voice to handle.I predict 'No Good Grace Feeling Cars in One Drama' version 5.

    Ruth will probably sing Shine, and if she does, it will be good.

    Diana will either be great or fall apart, depending on how she approaches the song. I hope she is back to her usually lovely performance standard this week, after lasts week, which was pretty rough.

    Not sure about the rest of them.

    Pansy, unchallenging pop for a pansy, unchallenging singer.

    Just wait for the judges to cream themselves over yet another Difficulty Level 1 performance.

    Patience is the perfect choice for Diana - it's certainly the only Take That song I could think of that wouldn't cause her difficulties.

    I have to admit myheart sank when I heard Rachel is doing Rule The World which is such a beautiful song, I just can't see how she will do it justice, and I wonder if it's an attempt to sabotage her chances and get her off the show this week.

    Yeah i think its a good choice for Alex...shes proven she can pull off the uptempo songs too when she done Candyman.

    JLS Back for Good. - They need to listen cafefully to everything Louie tells them the do exactly the opposite otherwise it will sound like Westlife doing Boyzone doing Take That.

    Alex Relight my Fire - Perfect for showcasing her versatility. If she nails it big time it's going to win a lot of new fans.

    Ruth - If she does Shine and rocks it up then it could be huge.

    Rachel Rule the World - As always it will be hit or miss.

    Diana Patience - It will either be like Yellow i.e. terrible or Smile i.e. terrible, take your pick.

    Eoghan Never Forget - If they bring in the children's choir I swear I'm going to call the RSPCC. :D
