Well they lined up Cable providers in the US, so it will probably come to the UK eventually.
I think the PS4 is turning out to be a great console, they've listened to the people and developers this time and actually taken on board the negatives of the PS3. They seem to be beating MS at every turn.
That's something I would like as well but given the lack of support for PlayTV it seems unlikely
Yeah I won't hold my breath lol
That's a feature that MS should have built into their console, not that daft hdmi pass through which saves you pressing another button in your remote.
I want something that lets me get rid of my other devices but to be fair maybe TV over the air is on the way out. I can see IPTV being the norm by 2020. At the moment the majority of my TV waiting is already done via catchup TV and other means

The trouble with building it into the system is once you get away from FTA TV it because a nightmare with different encryption and conditional access methods. Sky like to lock down their own encryption and card system into only their own hardware.
As much as I would like a console I can hook my satellite feeds into and plug my Sky card into sadly Microsofts method is probably the only realistic way to integrated subscription based TV services into their console
I agree with the IPTV comment, most of what I watch at the moment is via other means .
The last Guardian release date, or proof that it actually still exists. A Naughty Dog game, I don't care what it is, after seeing what they got out of the PS3 with The Last of Us, I cannot wait to see what they can do with the PS4.
Oh, good call! I love the PSone noise, they have been using it in thier conferences lately. PS2 had a nice relaxing sound and PS3 was going for something classy with the strings. I wonder what PS4 will sound like.
Only joking. Really want to see a huge improvement in the painfully slow store. It is horrible to use at the moment. Global psn releases too. I love the push for indie games on the platform but fear that the eu will have to wait weeks after the us releases of these titles.
Curious about the smartphone and vita apps too
Not sure if its been announced but with the ability to leave a game on in stand by mode and then start again straight away
it would be nice to be able to have more than one game active at a time
For example i could be playing a single player game like Skyrim or GTA, then some friends turn up, so i can pause the game i'm playing suspend it and then switch it to FIFA without the need to spend a few minutes going through menus and watching loading screens
If Asda are selling a Call of duty: Ghosts at £33, you should be able to obtain a code, from asda
And if the game is available as a down load, from the psn store, you get if for £33 not £56 or what ever sony will charge
If sony want to go the way of downloadable games, they need to be competitive, with the supermarkets, so maybe in return for sony matching the prices of the supermarkets, the supermarkets get advertising space on the ps4

This is basically what MS tried to do with the Xbox One which they had to uturn on.
Getting a code sounds good but then you need to be online to verify it, also it stops you giving to game to friends or selling it.
Considering the PS4 fully installs games I would rather the flexibility of it not being tied to my account TBH.

Wow.....now that takes me back! Yes I am with you on this one!!!
TBF to Sony its pretty perfect as it is.
Nice. Done sandbox like GTA and it could be gold

this gets my vote too!!

Feel like Uncharted is done and dusted. Only UC 2 was really good in my eyes.

I'm the same, UC was a great launch game and UC2 really showed what the PS3 is capable of. UC3 was disappointing to me, just more of the same.
I would much rather see a Last Of Us 2.
