Warning - I think will form a large part of this post..
In the early 90's I think there used to be this programme on a Sunday lunchtime.
I think it was on BBC2...
It may have been 'The Sunday Show'
ANYWAY part of that show was this young guy, black longish hair and his job every week was to get on TV on other channels incognito. On one occasion he managed to get on Anglia local news about roller skating or something.
Who was he? And where is he now?

Is this the one where dennis pennis 1st came to light as well?
dont really remember the bloke your on about tho sorry
Definately though black longish hair, slightly geeky - job to get on TV..
Sounds more like Network 7 to me
It might well have been..Though I feel it was after 'Network 7' for example and more 90's...
I remember one time he stood as a fringe candidate for a by-election so he could appear on tv when the result was announced
That rings a major bell with me as well. Magenta Divine used to present I think (and what on earth happened to her - fell down a well due to a whole wearing sunglasses all the time tragic accident perhaps?)
heres a clip of the show im on about
YES!!! YES!!
I've just googled Max Beesley - it was 'surf potatoes' but there's no mention of another guy...
ARGH!!
According to IMDB his co-presenter was Dani Behr
Ross Lee!!
He now presents on Nickleodeon
I can't find what programme he was in originally though..
THANKYOU!!
I always got him confused with Ross Noble
