A huge SOR was when Dev, with Kal and his dad, were arguing over whether to include a jacuzzi in the gym. Surely the first thing you do is market research before a venture like that, and know exactly what is going in your gym before you get the builders in. Have the builders been told that the plans for whole place are going to be made as they go along? Hasn't an architect drawn up any plans?

Exactly at the advanced stage they are at they would have detailed plans of the layout and what would go where. As if they would be discussing something like that at this stage. Something like having a Jacuzzi would effect the space required and the layout of the building.

I thought Steph had clocked on to it actually being Tina last night, but perhaps I was hoping for too much

Did anyone else think the "banter" between the girls in Tina's flat was really flat and forced? Corrie doesn't seem to have that natural flow any more where characters gelled together and the dialogue sounded realistic. I suppose it's so plot driven these days that this is the result.

Steph clearly will suss that its actually Tina who's seeing a married man. She was asking waaaaaaaaaaay too many questions about a mate of Tina's who she doesnt even know!

There are too many actors in Corrie now with little more than the ability to deliver lines and they have no ability to act a scene with any feeling.

I quite liked it. It was refreshing to see young women in Corrie actually socialising with each other FOR ONCE! I've always found it strange how the likes of Tina, Maria, Leanne, Eva ect don't have any female friends at all.

Surely they'd have had to apply for planning permission or at least change of use? Where I live that would take weeks if not months.

I was expecting Liz to come walking out when Tina and Peter were outside. Liz gave Peter one of those looks when he said hes going out for a ****.

Tina certainly can't. It's arsey-faced all the way with her. She can't even do variation on an arsey face kin different settings.

At the bistro with Carla and Michelle - arsey-faced. At the flat with Steph and brother -arsey-faced. At the flat with Steph and Katy - arsey-faced. The big SOR is why Carla sees her a such a big mate. Tina has never had a friendly conversation with her. It's always a few grunts and desperate to get away or arsey-faced.

And don't get me started on the colour of Tina and Katy last night. >:(:D

Carla's whole personality last night was a suspension of reality. Didn't she used to be a workaholic? The factory is almost part of her identity and yet she spent the whole time trying to get the hell out of there(or not go in the first place).

It's a plot device for the big reveal.

Liz wouldnt need to bother going into the smoking area to eavesdrop. She could just stand by her living room window because they were yelling full blast right outside it. :D

Off topic, but did anyone else notice PC Mike Bellamy from Heartbeat walking into the new Gym as a workman immediately when part two of the Friday 1'st episode started?

    How the mighty have fallen!

Yep, but they're not very convincing as mates are they? Carla's chatty and Tina isn't!

He did have a more prominent speaking role in the 2nd episode and it was his van that Tony broke into and stole the tools.
