Radio Caroline used to play a listener Top 10, and I would write one down, then constantly change it, and in the end I never sent one in.
Bowland 37 has some great tunes in there
Smartprogrammer please take note: THAT'S music variety!!:)
"Out Of The Blue" it is called and it is on You Tube. Try putting in "Radio Five Theme"
Second Les Reed Orchestra "Man Of Action" From Radio North Sea International.
Third "Caroline" by the Fortunes from Radio Caroline (199 Metres)
They played the wrong music at 5pm today!
Mi Amigio Theme / Bronx - Henri Dekker .

There's a reason why you rarely hear those songs. See if you can figure it out.
Too old?
I wouldn't say that a 6 minute dirge is a great radio song.
I hear those songs and more on the stations I listen too, but then again I don't listen to boring, predictable, play-safe British radio.
Tune into decent stations and you will hear them.
The kind of stations that some people work for on here are only interested in broadcasting to Sharon and Tracey cramming adverts in. Any long songs and the audience couldn't focus on it long enough and the advertisers would complain.
I think Radio 2 and Jack FM are the only UK FM stations that play all of them.
I've got them all on my hard drive anyway plus lots more that Heart wouldn't touch.
