Tough one to call this match. I think whoever wins will get beaten by Germany in the final though. Mind you, I don't really mind who wins this game or who wins the final. All I'd ask for is 2 decent games to watch.
Will be a minute of silence before the match for Alfredo di Stefano according to the BBC.
I wonder if it was because because of fears the Brazilian fans would not respect it as to why they wasn't a silence last night. In that case the neutrals from Brazil in the crowd may disrespect it.

I just thought it made more sense to wait for the Argentina game anyhow
I think the last time these two teams met in the World Cup was in 1998. A quarter final which saw that stunning Bergkamp goal.
And of course this was the 1978 World Cup Final, which Argentina won.
Procure a grain of excitement from the match!
Thanks for Thread Peter, and evening all. Can't see Argentina beating Holland tonight, or any night in the foreseeable future, as Holland have lots of tricks to makie sure they win. Should be an interesting match to watch:D
I wonder if Van Persie was really ill or was it just a ruse to confuse Argentina and make them waste time thinking of new game plans when he was going to play from the start.
Messi's friend, a well known sports Reporter in Argentina apparently died today in a car crash in Brazil. I wonder if it will affect Messi's performance. I am not sure how close they were through.

thank you
Thinks of a number between 1 and 10
...eight goals tonight.
For Holland. :D

I wonder how much of the pre-match talk will be about Lionel Messi and last nights game. I say 99.8%
Netherlands: Cillessen, Vlaar, De Vrij, Martins Indi, Blind, De Jong, Van Persie, Sneijder, Robben, Kuyt, Wijnaldum
Argentina: Romero, Garay, Zabaleta, Biglia, Perez, Higuaín, Messi, Mascherano, Demichelis, Rojo, Lavezzi
And so does De Jong!

Nah, it will be about how were all devastated that Brazil got whipped.
Really missed him the last few days.
