He's making me laugh every week. His comic timing and deadpan delivery is great.

My favourite was probably to Robin Hood:
"And does anyone ever punch you in the face when you say that?"

This doctor is my patronus I swear to god.

The dialogue this series has been spot on!!!

    Doctor: Fish people.
    Clara: What are they like?
    Doctor: Fish and people

The walls need sponging and there’s a sinister puddle.

    Doctor: Can’t you read?!
Courtney: Of course I can read. Read what?
Doctor: The door. It says “Keep Out.”
Courtney: No, it says “Go away humans.”
Doctor: Oh, so it does. Never lose your temper in the middle of a door sign.

No, not like a decoy. AS a decoy. Don’t they teach you anything at stupid school?

    My favourite is still:

"Hello, hello...rubbish robots from the dawn of time".

    Closely followed by:

    "Here comes the cavalry...".

"Hello, hello...rubbish robots from the dawn of time".

One of my fav's too :)

I was aiming for minimalist, but I think I've ended up with magician.

Have you ever looked in a mirror and thought to yourself "I've seen that face before"?

I liked these ones, though personally I though the exchange between Twelve and Clara at the end of Deep Breath was the writing highlight. For me, a well-written emotional line will always triumph over a quip.

As a straight lines go those where exceptional and moved me a lot.

It reminded me of when I split with my ex (her fault), cos she thought my attitude towards her had changed (she'd had a lot of bad exboyfriends before me), and I wished I said something along the same lines to her.

    .....

She'd had a lot of bad ex bfs before you... maybe ones who took no responsibility at all for their bad relationship and blamed her for everything? That would count as a bad BF for sure.

Probably best not to air your laundry in a Doctor Who forum. You don't want it getting debated really do you?

"This is Clara, not my assistant, she's uh...some other word..." (how about friend lol)

"So you've got a whole room...for not being awake in? But what's the point, you're just missing the room, and don't look in that mirror! It's absolutely furious!

I was merely giving context to my love of that scene.

    It's called emoting.

Then again I did forget about the character of certain sociopathic posters here.

I still love the one to Will Scarlett (I think)

"If you were real you'd be dead in 6 months"
    "I AM real..."
    "... Bye!"

Then she said something like: "Carer, I'm his carer"

Doctor: "She cares, so I don't have to"

When Courtney discovers the corpse on the moon station:

    "Chicken, apparently"

This line honestly made me laugh out loud, very dry wit!

Doctor pulls out a strand of Clara's hair
"It was the only one out of place. I was sure you would want it killed"
Too funny!! Loved him ever since.

"Yeah, my carer. She cares so I don't have to." Brilliant line again well delivered. :)
Probably my favourite line of the series so far. Funny, yet dark and somewhat menacing at the same time.

    Here's the clip: http://youtu.be/o_dmdgSMl8M

I like how its meant to be a little dig from Clara but the Dotor's interpretation (or should that be deliberate misinterpretation) not only neutralises that dig but perfectly highlights this Doctor's no-nonsense, unsentimental attitude.

'Two different emotions at the same time - it's like you're..malfunctioning.'
    and
'i remember when this was all planets as far as the eye etc...' :)
Just little throwaway lines like those litter the scripts in this series and capaldi is nailing every one of them..
agreed that 'she cares so i don't have' to is the best line of the series by a mile though..

This one has some acidic wit and bite that Matt Smith could only dream of.

    A vast improvement.

Matt Smith didn't write the scripts.
