Here is a handy tip I used to use (please tell me if it works) for anyone feeling a bit jaded, say before having to go out for the evening:
Lie flat on your back on the bed for say a minute or less. Totally let the mind and body relax - clearing the mind letting it empty while "centring it" - with the mind still and steady as a rock.
