So... back in the day 'Why Don't You' encouraged you to switch off your TV and go and do something else. Looks like ITV1 have taken this idea into the 21st Century with this show.
And to not only switch off the TV - but smash it to pieces with a sledgehammer.
I thought it was a bit cack and quite a few of the audience looked familiar to me for some reason, but it was much better than the embarrassingly OTT Shane Ritchie and 'Don't forget the lyrics' on Sky One.
I applied for this, and was gutted i didnt get an audition. But going by the comments i'm glad i didnt! I couldnt watch it as i was worried i'd get really envious as i just want to sing on tv!!!
seems like not getting an audition was a blessing in disguise!
Did anyone get how that red hot scoring thing worked? Not being scientific it just seemed like they were picking random numbers and creating an average?

Probably the same way the Singstar games calculate scores on the Playstation.

No, love but you need to see what we thought of it on here!
Only 44 secs of it but it gives you an idea.......the rest must be locked in a lead lined bunker somewhere now to protect the ears of the public!

I wonder if they will be visiting here???
As host of this thread you can bet I will be here (Tabby makes a memo to sharpen his claws)
See you next week

I know I just enjoyed it, not sure why though, I prefered it to SkyOne's programme 'Don't forget the lyrics'. I think I'll watch again next week.
I think you're right as they are also using the exact same backdrop from Catchphrase.

I thought that ! They must have spent ages blowing the dust off the set.
Roy Walker doing a Springsteen Medley could help pick things up ... they are using his old set after all, they owe him !
