I've had the same fake tree since the child was little.

We've got an assortment of decorations, added to over the years and thrown away too - some longstanding favourites.

    It's a mess.

    And that's how I like it - theme- er....standard Christmas mish mash.:D

The genteel & refined Harrods one I talked about up there ^^^^ is for the living room. Did I forget to mention the naff old fibre optic one, trimmed with all kinds of tat imaginable? I bought it on a whim in a Chinese discount store. That goes up in the kitchen - along with a multi-coloured disco glitterball. Mish-mash city!:D

Mine is a black fibre optic, and I have purple and pink decs. Roll on 1st December! 🎄
Surely there can't be any harm in putting the decorations up on the last day of November, can there?

No, but my tradition is 1st December, and it's a Sunday this year so that's a bonus too, no work, no hassle.

Red & Silver. Every year I intend to change the colours, but when it comes to it I always find something more important to spend the money on.

Invisible! (i.e. I can't be arsed with Christmas decorations......I'm atheist!).

So what? Christmas has nothing to with religion!

Red and green are Christmas colours.

Yellow and blue are Easter colours. I'm not sure exactly why; it's probably my subconscious recollection of having an Easter egg in those colours when I was a tot.

Well, whatever (though I suspect there are a few who would dispute that)......it's a festival that I don't observe.

We usually do ours with silver tinsel, and plain flashing lights.
