London looks such a nicer place since it got fantastically rich! (pity about the yoboes at Camden locked though).

I refuse to believe they didn't know where they were though - they must have a map :)
    It was dark.;-)

Fascinating one last night - I remember going to London Zoo in the seventies, from Little Venice on the Canal.

    Amazed by the Three Bridges.:o

Loved the show. My family use to be big narrowboat fans. Prunella is lovely and funny.

    Another thoroughly enjoyable episode tonight.

As a canal enthusiast I find this series to be warm and friendly. Unlike John Sergeant, they are real boaters.

    Such an endearing couple.

    Such a beautiful place.

Hannibal Lecter! Remember that film where he removes and cooks some brains from a doped victim?

    Just catching this on +1.
Will anyone ever rent them a boat again, with the clattering they give even a cabin cruiser on those wide canals :)
Pru's struggling with the Brains and Snails, both look more interesting than the Chops to be honest.

They're almost as amusing for not 'flapping' as Tim Spall and Shane as he clings to him 'OOh Timmy, Timmy'

Tim's 'bugger's make me grin. So very British.

They really are an endearing couple, and Pru talking to her grandson about her past French love, reminds me so much of my deal old mum (94) talking to us about her past loves during the war. None of whom were my dear old dad to whom she was married fofr 69 years.

This is such a gentle, entertaining, programme. I hope they do more.

    Great one last night.

Found it eerie how Joe's sons looked like Sam but Joe didn't

Sam? The other son? The one who's the spitting image of Tim, even down to his walk?

That boat costs around £2000 a week in June. Plus damages.

Enjoying this series as much as the one Tim Spall did with his wife.

Pru Scales is an amazingly youthful looking 82 years old. :o

What i find even more uncanny (for me) is she has the identical demeanour and sense of humour as one of my cousins.....even down to her accent. It's almost as though i'm listening to the same person. Weird.

Watched one last night as they when across France, think they smack the boat about 6 times in to brick walls and bridges. Good on them, enjoy life while you can.

It's such a charming series. I wish I'd seen the first series now and annoyingly it's not available on 4OD.
Love Tim's grins to camera when he does something wrong and all the family's love for Pru is so evident.

Timothy & Shane Spall + Prunella & Timothy West.
They should make an episode of the four of them all being together
The West's can navigate the Canals and The Spall's can navigate the open sea.

Timothy should pilot in the open sea where there is less chance of hitting innocent brickwork.
