I adore both albums but the fact they were both put together and Lana's has to be ONE OF THE BEST albums my ears have ever heard, Lana wins hands down

So hard I think Electra works solidly as a piece as opposed to BTD, but on the flipside paradise is more thematically structured whereas BTD loosely followed a thematic idea.

So difficult picking between individual tracks. Both albums are absolutely flawless start to finish IMO and I would put both in my favourite albums of all time. Marina ever so slightly takes the edge, though.

Lana 5 - Marina 12. Both albums are extremely solid but I think Electra Heart being more varied sonically wins it for me.

Ditto but I genuinely don't 'get' Marina so maybe that's the reason lol. Said it before, Born To Die will be seen as a defining pop album of its era in the years to come. And people will look back and wonder where all the ridiculous hate came from.

I adore both albums so found this very difficult. However, Lana wins 6, Marina wins 8 and then there are 3 ties as I really couldn't decide between either song.

I'm really interested in seeing what Lana's second album, Ultraviolence, will sound like as the producers she's working with are unusual for Lana while I'm really excited to see what Marina has coming up with her third album this year as one of the producers of the album has described it as "eclectic"! Hopefully should be a good year for music this year

I totally accept it's all about opinions but I'm amazed at Off To The Races losing out to any song let alone the one on here. That song is, imo, one of the greatest 'pop' songs of the last 5 years. It's absolutely brilliantly written, produced and sung.

Not really a fan of either, but the wife is. Outta the two I'd probably give the edge to Lana - but personally If I had to choose an album by a similar artist I say Lorde's debut easily surpasses both of these albums by quite someway.

Off To The Races is one of my favorite-ever songs. I just love it, I will never get tired of it. That, Dark Paradise, National Anthem, Without You, Lucky Ones and Born To Die are my favorites off the album, but I love all the songs. American is my favorite off of Paradise, but there are no songs I don't like.
