Yeh it seemed he came to Emmerdale, lost his daughter then left to be alone elsewhere.
He did thank Vanessa for her help but did then leave without saying goddbye to her. I doubt he's have said goodbye to Zak had they not bumped into eachother.
Yeh I think at least 50% of Dingles have landed up in prison, and a clear majority in trouble with the Police.
