Demographic Information for BBC1 and ITV for Monday 3rd to Sunday 10th March: http://oi49.tinypic.com/245d25g.jpg

Top programmes for the week among 18-49 year olds from that list (excludes soaps and news) were:

    1. UCL: Man Utd v Real Madrid: 14.3
    2. Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway: 10.7
    3. Dancing on Ice: 8.5
    4. FA Cup: Man Utd v Chelsea: 7.9
    5. Call The Midwife: 7.8
    6. The Cube: 7.3
    7. Six Nations: England v Italy: 6.9
    8. Broadchurch: 6.5
    9. Piers Morgan's Life Stories: 6.4
    10. Mr Selfridge: 6.0

Note: Each number indicates the % of the UK 18-49 population. For e.g. 14.3% of 18-49 year olds living in the UK watched Man Utd v Real Madrid. Also important to note that because Mayday was stripped, there were fewer different programmes at 9pm for BBC One (and therefore fewer opportunities) this week to make the Top 10

Pointless will probably get the same ratings as Let's Dance got last week (4-5m), but I think SNT will take most of the family audience.

They've put Secret Service back to 2pm, why could they not have shown it at like 8am on CBBC - lack of Saturday morning TV for kids. It shouldn't really be on BBC One never mind primetime.

The dire performance of the 8-10pm Wednesday block on ITV1 really stood out last week when every other day had such great ratings. One of their best weeks for a while, football coverage really delivering for them. BBC1 dominated by Mayday which delivered decent ratings across the week.

It's going to be something of a reverse of fortunes this week - an all foreign tie in the Champions League which will be lucky to pull half of the Manchester United figure; the Wednesday flop zone continuing, Chelsea v Bucharest on Thursday which isn't going to match Liverpool's effort and Piers Morgan (indeed, the whole Friday evening) being broadcast opposite Comic Relief. While Dancing on Ice has been widely criticised I doubt Millionaire or Our Queen will match it on Sunday. I guess Saturday should be a bright spot with the ever reliable Ant and Dec taking up residence.

Our Queen might match DOI's ratings, although not its 18-49 audience.

Meanwhile, the Radio Times preview of The Lady Vanishes can be summarised as well-made but a bit pointless considering how revered Alfred Hitchcock's film is.Maybe that's why BBC1 avoided showing this at Christmas and have stuck it on against Our Queen.

Marchfields, the ghost drama, was a big ratings hit for ITV, so they do it all over again with a different cast in Lightfields, but this flops in the ratings.

The Syndicate was a ratings hit for BBC1 so they're doing it all over again with a different cast. Will this suffer the same fate as LIghtfields?

    Because CBBC has standards.

I think the syndicate is likely to be more popular this time around as alison steadman is a popular draw for viewers. I would expect similar figures if not higher this series as it already established itself in series one with a regular audience

We'll have to see the ratings tommorow but I do agree it will at least have the same audience as series 1 and could be likely to actually rate higher. The same was for death in paradise which was getting around 6 million in its first series but grew to about 7.5 million in series 2. A lot of the tuesdays dramas on bbc1 (the syndicate, the paradise, last tango in halifax) already established themselves with good ratings in series 1 and are likely to increase their ratings in series 2.

Also has anyone heard anything about the BAFTA preview of episode one of the bbc the village last night. According to some people there, it was BRILLIANT.

Can people get consolidated data for shows which didn't make broadcasters top 30?

If so I'd be very grateful for the Child Of Our Time consolidated viewing figures

    Thanks

Tuesday dramas tend to do well regardless as they have an open goal with football every other week on ITV meaning the female drama audience is there for the taking, and already there with Holby on before as well.

Best combined primetime performance by the traditional terrestrials I've seen for a while. Rocky II was out for the count: not the right slot for it, I feel, although Channel 5 probably had in mind counter-scheduling with something male-skewing vs the female-oriented DOI and CTM.

Breakfast very high for this time of year. BBC1 was high all day really (except for 10.35pm).

Any chance of C4 ratings? Many thanks and much appreciated.
