Has Anyone seen a copy & is it still going.

Rather than putting in the book thread, I thought the subject
matter might jog a few memories.

Predicitions from 2002.

Floods.
EU crisis
Blood Sports
Syria has problems.
Someone is kidnapped.

And lots of adverts for crystals.
Is there 2010 edition?

The Derby will be won by a three-year-old colt. Never fails.

You used to see it on newsagent counters, but I've not noticed it for a long time.

From a quick look you can buy it off Amazon, so it's still going. I would imagine that Smiths stock it somewhere.

If anyone has the 2012 copy could you mention what the predictions are?

    Another few from 2002

    Pound in crisis.
    OIl reserves
    Loss of a public figure
    all rather vague...

lol...i'm not making this up....Nick Clegg may well be a future prime minister..

    ..
Secret financial stats could reveal that the economy is stronger than expected.
The legal system will be in disarray with conflicts over attempts to curb human rights.

The mining industry may receive investment to extract coal and tin.
The government will embark on a major economic reform intent of a radical break with the past.

There will be violent clashes in the commons with backbench revolts and a high chance of party splits.

Oil spills likely in the western atlantic or western pacific.

There will be fresh reforms in the education sector with encouragement towards home schooling ...

I used to work for a small electronics firm and every week the Production Supervisor had to provide the Product Manager with the projected output for the following week. After a couple of weeks of various unforeseen problems, the Product Manager opened the projected output folder to find a copy of Old Moore's Almanac...

Ah right I misread the op, thought they meant from 2002 as in 2002-onwards, not predictions made for the year 2002. :o

I used to enjoy the spoof version Old Bores - with adverts for fake warts etc - current spoof is called Old Shite.
