How much does a whole octopus cost to buy?

    I've seen them in morrisons - about £3 iirc. I think they maybe seasonal though.

    Can you not ask a fishmonger? A decent one will order on in for you.

    Otherwise you could buy frozen online. Freezing is not too bad for it as it tenderises it.

    Fishmonger in london wanted £24.50 for a whole one!!! Nearly choked!!
    Thanks to the poster above who mentioned Morrisons, ended up getting 2 small ones of a couple quid

    well Im gonna put one on the BBQ and pan fry the other one in garlic and olive oil. Nothin too fancy!

    Octopus is one of my favourite foods. Cooked, refridgerated and then served cold and with vinegar is lovely but bbq and drizzled with lemon zest and juice, garlic and oil is nice too.
