I was a lurker, in the Big Brother section for a year or so, but too nervous to register an account, the posters were scary!!

Then I started reading general discussion and realised I wanted to join in.

Erm, ended up registering after a thread was linked too me on an official forum, think it might have been XF but can't really remember... read it and wanted to contribute too it. I was one of those jump in feet first types I think, not sure now though, it was a while ago.

Yep, just checked, my first post was a sarcastic response to something ridiculous. :-/

Searching someone I used to know who was an actor. I found a thread on what a dick he was. I was tempted to contribute, but didn't. Then got hooked.

It's been 14 years... we can still smell the fresh paint. The china had never been used. The sheets had never been slept in.

I blame the snowman who used to grace these walls.

Lurking in the soap section while the soaps were on for months on end and I decided I wanted a piece of the action and have now branched further.

I liked reading the forums, was tired of being a lurker and wanted to join in with the discusions. Years later and a few thousand posts later, they reward my loyalty by taking away the 2 best smiley icons (without warning) and replacing them with sub-standard inferior imitations.

No, I'm not over it yet... (urghhh, it's just not the same) ;-)

No. I'm out and proud of my BB love.;-) The forum is like a box of angry snakes with PMT, though.

Me too - not remotely embarrassed either as it's the show that brought me to forums, period.

Read it a fair bit and found it interesting but just wanted to post my views/experiences in response to the many 'no smoke without fire' posts relating to bill Roache or similar type verdicts.

How does one go that far back in post history? I can only go back in mine to 2012

I'm pretty sure it was something to do with Big Brother
