Stake - We will start as usual with a mythical 300 points and bets will either be 10 WIN or 5 EW. Your winnings will be added to your 300 and your losses deducted.
Race - The race each Saturday will normally be the richest race of the day. However, this rule will be slightly flexible when it comes to big meetings like the Grand National. The National isn't the richest race of the day but is the obvious choice to use. And I want to do something a bit different this year with the National, give everybody TWO selections - 1 win and 1 EW. Plus it would be nice to also include the Cheltenham Gold Cup as well this season. I know its on a Friday but be nice to have that in too as we have less NH races than Flat.
Each Way - EW places will be as per most bookmakers for handicaps ( 2 places in fields of less than 7, 3 places in fields of 8-15 inclusive and 4 places for fields of 16 or over ) but only for handicaps remember. And EW will ALWAYS be a 1/4 of the odds.
Missing a race - Like the flat racing contest we had recently, if you miss a race a 25 point deduction will be incurred. However, if you know you will miss a race ( due to holiday etc ) then you can either chose in advance a horse number or say select the 2nd fav or message me with your choice. This way you will always be in play.
The season will start and end with two gold cups.
Start will be the Paddy Power Gold Cup this weekend
End will be the Bet365 Gold Cup in late April
Thanks

Um'd and ah'd about going win or EW on a 12/14-1 shot but would rather get a few pounds on the board so bottled it
Back in the nick of time, but I'm going to stick with this even tough it's a big ask. Could start the year with an unassaillable lead
