There is not much I am probably going to use on the new update (don't use Facebook etc) but really love the new gallery as it's a lot faster than the old one (I have over 16GB of photos on my SD card and it used to be a bit laggy). I also love the way you can look through your photo albums.
Also the low light camera update should be good if it works (have not had a chance to play with it yet).
Every time select an icon/widget to move or delete, I now get haptic feedback, even though all vibrate options are switched off. I don't recall having this issue before.
I've gone through every menu with a fine tooth-comb and every vibrate option is switched off.
It's a silly complaint I know, but having my phone vibrate is a pet hate.

Frequently freezing and not waking up when locked.
It was fine before the update, of course it could be an app that is causing it.
I have never been able to get Kies to work so an OTA update is the best option for me.
I have now had both 4.1.2 updates (XELL4 and XELLA) and am still getting freezes (although not as often).
I have removed a lot of apps and photos now and will keep an eye on it.
Not sure if it is one app causing it or a system issue...

I've rooted my S3, does anyone know where can i get the S3 4.2 rom from? I doesn't update itself since i rooted.
Have a look on the XDA developers site.
I'm not sure if you can just update your current ROM when it's been rooted and thought you had to re flash it (I may be wrong though)?

Apparently fixes the crash issue that some people reported after the 4.2 update
