"I'm really worried to hear labour members laughing at the Scottish labour leader". :D

You called Jeremy a lunatic and perpetually ridicule him. Come down off your high horse.

    He is a monumental d1ckhead

How worried should we be at *you* then, Smith, calling *your* leader a lunatic?

He is such a transparent fake.

Which is a good thing, he does not have many people fooled!

Yep Jerry is so much better at that.

not the fakery itself obviously he's just as rubbish at that bit, but the volume of faithful he has that still believe in his miracles when the strings have been caught on camera

She was also cheered, and by more people than jeered. And you have to wonder the sincerity of those people, and if they were even Labour supporters in the first place. The amount of games being played in Scottish politics is ridiculous. Even the UKIP leader in Scotland admitted to signing up to Labour to vote in the leadership election, so who knows who else with no regard for Labour values did it, or turned up to the debate.

Smith was foolish to use the word 'lunatic', but his words have been taken totally out of context, and anyone repeating it either hasn't bothered to check, or is doing so willingly, which makes them look worse.

Doesn't he see the irony of criticising Scottish Labour members for not supporting their leader?

No, there are many transparent fakes in British politics.

    Cue - "caring Conservatives".

It's irony upon irony now, because Corbyn himself did not support Smith, Kinnock or Blair. I'm not even sure he supported Foot but he certainly tried to oust the other three. I mean, you could maybe understand why Corbyn wanted to oust Blair but to plot against John Smith, well! The man is a serial traitor.

I don't. I probably disagree on fundamental matters with all of them to a lesser or greater degree, but I've never bought in to this " I despise them all" line.

When I recognise a politician that I believes is not out for themselves, but puts the people first, I will change my mind. No rich bloke will fit the bill.

So does that mean you hate them because you think they are paid too much?

Lack of sincerity and abundance of dishonesty makes me dislike most of them. I didn't say hate, either.

Owen Smith makes me cringe. I'll never understand those who claim Corbyn is unelectable but think Owen Smith would be any better.

I'm not convinced Smith would do a whole lot better, but he's not proven himself to be useless, as Corbyn has, and most importantly, I think he'd have the decency to resign when it became obvious that were the case, giving someone else a chance.

Feel contempt or repugnance for. Sums it up.

On the subject of definitions, do you think Michael Meacher was a socialist?
