I have the BT adsl modem and am a bt broadband subscriber so the BT vision etc is not a problem...I just need to be able to recieve free to air signals....the sky guy that I talked to told me that this is what I would get after cancelling my sky

If you cannot receive a decent digital signal via your rooftop aerial then BT Vision will be of no use to you. The only things you would get are the VOD which is what comes via your broadband. These are PPV or pay monthly depending what you want.

Why don't you cancel your sky subs but pay them £10pm for the PVR function or for £7pm more get a basic mix package which will include the PVR function as standard?
