Britain's Got Talent's breakdancing pensioner is claiming £70 a week in disability benefits for 'bad leg'

still, i suppose it's not that much different to what some MPs have been doing so I am sure he won't be prosecuted either..

Thanks for the link, he got a free car as well
Probably the most they will do is stop all the benefits.

Well I see him most weeks, and he does struggle walking (and quite slowly). If you notice in his dance, he doesn't use his knees much... perhaps he has problems with them? I've only spoken to him a couple of times, so haven't really pried into his personal life, but it easy to judge based on the fact he can dance. He was on Central News a couple of years ago about his breakdancing so it's nothing new - i.e. the authorities would have seen back then that he can clearly move - why would it be different now? I'd be glad if I can move like that at my age, benefits or not!

Sorry to drag this thread up from the depths but I thought I would let the former followers of Fred Bowers know that he passed away on Monday 12th Nov aged 77 after being unwell for several months.

    LINK

At least he won't have to pay all that money back to the Gov't now ;)

    R.I.P Fred
