It took a while before the album really clicked with me. Weirdly, it suits my tastes now, years later, way more than it did initially. Maybe ahead of it's time? It's certainly the record I always go to if I want to listen to Alanis. I absolutely love the last trio of tracks Joining You, Heart of the House and Your Congratulations.
Personally I think it's taken until Havoc and Bright Lights for Alanis to make an album close to the quality of ...Junkie. Okay, it still doesn't really come close, but I think it's a big step up.
