    Because they're not a secure unit, meaning it would be illegal to lock children in!

    I say this every week. The level of slackness in this school is off the scale.

    Mrs Marsden is no doubt a good person with very worthy intentions but she is a total flannel.
    That school needs a leader, and a coherent behaviour policy.

    When Mrs Marsden read out that kid's list of demerits I could barely believe her casual attitude.
    These are points fo verbally abusing teachers and as head of year all she could muster was 'Ooh that's baaaad'

    What? Get out from behind that desk you useless flannel and sort the kid out.
