We're all supposed to been replacing these things every couple of years. Trying to make them last longer makes you a bad consumer. Besides, the battery will probably be buggered by then anyway.

A very slightly damp (with water) microfibre cloth. Nothing else is needed.

I use the same occasionally, only very slightly damp as you say. Usually a dry microfiber cloth is enough.
I know someone who has used baby wipes with no ill effects..so far.

On the same subject, does anyone have any tips on cleaning the Smart Case ? Mine has become very grubby on the inner (felt) side..can you just wash it ?

I use the cloth that came with an old pair of glasses. Works a treat.

Pledge (Polish) has a new product, Pledge Electronics. Its a silver can that resembles a can of regular wood polish. Its says on the can that its for use on Laptops, Tablets, TVs and Smartphones. I cant recommend it enough. We use it on my Galaxy S3, Galaxt Tab 2, TVs, Laptops and my partner's iPhone.

Just spray a bit on the screen ans wipe all over the screen and back of the tablet with a soft dry cloth. It leaves no residue or smell. It makes the tablet look brand new and I've even found it removed some minor scuffs and scratches.

Just stick the whole thing in the dishwasher.
