I bloody loved Scooby Doo as a kid. They RUINED it with Scrappy Doo - an absolute travesty.
Oh I know...I hate Scrappy too. Smug little know it all. Scooby though will always be my number one cartoon - thanks in part to Casey's brilliant Shaggy.
A really sad time for all concerned. His top 40 countdown was a regular listen for me back in the 80s. So much good music around back then, and you would hear plenty of records on it his show that were yet to be released over here. He had a listeners letter and would name check plenty of really obscure stations throughout the world.

Did he? I used to like that too...it was shown along with The Sentinels I think.

It's sobering.
Bob Hoskins and Harold Ramis too - it feels like so many figures who represented much of my childhood are gone or about to go.
And he was the voice of the Autobot Cliffjumper in the original Transformers cartoon.

This is so weird. Where has his wife gone? Why would anyone steal a body unless it was to spite the rest of the family perhaps?
Let's hope they are some meddlin' kids around to make sure they don't get away with it.
