Hellboy, I thought it was a great film and did not bad at the cinema but no sequel yet.
'Hellboy 2: The Golden Army' Being made as we speak. And not forgetting there have also already been two animated sequels - 'Hellboy Animated: Sword of Storms', 'Hellboy Animated: Blood and Iron', with a third on the way, 'Hellboy Animated: The Phantom Claw'.

    Regards

There was talk of a sequel but there are various websites that will explain the behind the scenes bickering involving Stephen Spielberg and some other big players that eventually put an end to the sequel plans.

Mrs Doubtfire, although I heard that a sequal was planned but got scrapped because Williams didn't like the script.
I heard that as well, i loved the original (
    watched 6 times).

    Talking of Williams.

One Hour Photo. It would have been nice to see his character after a stint in jail, not that it would have affected Syrus.

Did Return of the Jedi ever get a sequel ?

Godfather part II was probably one of the first 'numbered' sequals...Obviously you have stuff like James Bond before that...Or even numerous King-Kong type films which would call sequals.

I was just going to say that after looking at a pic of what Corey Haim looks like now on heatworld.com. All my teenage dreams shattered in an instant!

Where did you read the script and was it really that bad?

I read it about 10 years ago now but my memory is hazy on the plot. It involved girls this time, possibly surfers (?). Kiefer's character - David - was still in it because he wasn't actually dead in The Lost Boys due to it being bone and not a wooden stake that "killed" him.

I just remember it being rather rubbish! Or maybe I was just jealous that a group of girls would get to hang around with David :D I still wish I was Star getting on the bike with him. Don't know what she saw in Michael *issues*

A lot of the earlier comedy films, Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy.

Innerspace was the one I was thinking off, maybe Martin Short's in Dennis Quaid body.

Was there ever a sequel to Dune? I have seen different versions of the original but never a version of any of the follow up novels.

Godzilla- one of the eggs hatched, so what happened after that?

Pretty Woman- 10 years later Julia roberts realises Richard Gere isn't Prince charming when he goes off with a younger woman.

Sliding doors- did she actually get together with him in the end? did she have a happy life?

I'm not too sure if this was the first film to have a sequal but Frankenstein (1931) has a sequal called "The Bride Of Frankenstein" (1935)

I remember the first time i saw "Mary Poppins" & she just got up & left without saying goodbye to the family.I always thought they should have made a sequal to find out what she got up to next.

I think a better topic would be "Disney movies never given a sequel."

Seriously, ALL of them have sequels these days, that are never a patch on the original.
