99 (93) = Tom O’Connell (BB12) = 7799pts
BB12's Tom also continues to climb back up the rankings and retains his top 100 position. He is also in front of best friend Alex for the first time.
I think Tom was miles better as a housemate than Alex. She was a waste of a housemate place as far as I'm concerned.
Surprised to see Tania in the top 100, nothing particularly memorable about her
a) The inch thick layer of blusher she put on her face all the time;
b) The boutique she worked in, which she claimed attracted one customer a day;
c) Her transparently genuine joy and happiness when she was evicted.
Mark was my number 3. Obviously only appeals to elite tastes. For some reason which I can't imagine, some people did not appreciate his masturbation competition with Jay.

I gave Paul his lowest ranking. Yey me.
I blame him for me not liking BB2 very much. He managed to combine being incredibly boring and arrogant in equal measure, and surviving eviction after eviction over more interesting people certainly didn't help. The public didn't even like him that much, it was just his romance with Helen keeping him in.
Meanwhile, someone who did delusion the correct way...
Danielle was one of the few things keeping my interest in BB15. It doesn't help that she fell victim to what was probably the worst twist during the worst week of the series.
Since she was never evicted by public vote the way BB is supposed to be, I like to imagine I'm in Danielle's crazy world and she's actually the winner of the series.
Maysoon so doesnt deserve to be top 100, especially as we had so many more deserving HMs exit before her. I checked my own ranking and I had her at 107 and i was like huh, how did I rank her so highly but I guess many people did the same, had her somewhere in the middle as she wouldn't be anyones absolute favourite but too bland to be hateable.
I gave Maysoon her highest ranking! Not a classic housemate I guess but a really likeable one from one of my favourite series
Not a bad ranking for Danielle, certainly one of the best housemates this year and my favourite in the opening weeks - shame she fell victim to the awful Armageddon twists.
I've just got Coirin and Gina left from my bottom 20 now. 9 or my top 10 still in tact - pleased to see Hazel and Shabby still hanging in there
I never like it when people have unnecessary levels of hatred for someone who doesn't seem to be doing anything to deserve it. Grace was calling Lea, Richard, Aisleyne, Sam.....all sorts of names while they were thinking they were okay with her.
The way Grace treated Susie finally brought out her childish behaviour for the house to see and I think they were pretty shocked by it. Richard had seen a couple of glimpses of it when Aisleyne entered and was disappointed by it, but I think he was going to dismiss it as a one-off occurrence until Susie came in.
Grace's demise coming at the hands of a newbie was very fitting given the way she had treated all of the newbies that had entered.
I put her and Adele in the same category, where I feel like they were far too intelligent to fall into the bitchy and resentful trap they fell into and suffered the consequences for.

I gave Darren his highest ranking.
I especially enjoyed watching him turn around his fear of chickens and developing it into a connection with feathery delight Marjorie. *sniff sniff*
Plus I liked his well-meaning but sometimes cringeworthy clumsiness - from his unbearable nomination reasons (wanting someone to leave so they will be able to see their family *bleurgh*) to the house over-hearing his nominations and trying in vain some serious damage-control to mend his relationship with Mel.
I would agree - Ahmed was a classic HM, he just worked well in the madhouse that was BB5 and had some great moments. I had him @ 44, retrospectively would have put him even a little higher.
Excited for top 100!
One of the funniest things about Ahmed was how he went to bed early on Fight Night and managed to sleep through the whole kerfuffle
I didn't like the way Jale turned against Chris - for no real reason
I think if asked she would say the reason was him refusing to admit that he was the secret PHM even after the shouting over the wall. She claimed to someone at the time (might have been Helen) that he (Chris) had blackmailed her over the matter.

That makes little sense, especially the "newbie" part, since the loathsome Susie's "newbie" status was irrelevant, and the part about Richard (who was btw ok with Grace weeks after the Susie stuff). (Note btw how no one seemed shocked by the water-throwing except Aisleyne. Richard and Jennie liked re-enacting it, later on; R even asked Aisleyne if she'd like to try, and described it as liberating.)

Ahmed was a poor HM, imo (like all HMs over 40), and finished as high as he did only because he was in one of the better series -- though in the recap above bb10 had more HMs left.
Caoimhe takes a small climb up the rankings; a shame when she walked in BB11 especially as it started a revolving door couple of weeks with HMs coming and going.
That makes little sense, especially the "newbie" part, since the loathsome Susie's "newbie" status was irrelevant, and the part about Richard (who was btw ok with Grace weeks after the Susie stuff).
Makes perfect sense to me, being my opinion and all.
Susie was a new person entering the house, so she was a newbie, just like Aisleyne and Sam. Who were all treated with contempt by Grace, not sure if it was a coincidence or not but 3 out of 3 is a pretty good record.
I don't think Susie deserves being called loathsome at all. She could be a little bit superior and bossy, but she was as painfully polite as a housemate could be.
So for a third year, the bottom 3 remains unchanged as Alexandra takes bronze at the bottom of the rankings, despite some low entries this year from some HMs, the bottom 3 was seemingly unshakeable.
Makes perfect sense to me, being my opinion and all.
Do you think opinions necessarily make sense, just because they're opinions?
Susie was a new person entering the house, so she was a newbie, just like Aisleyne and Sam. Who were all treated with contempt by Grace, not sure if it was a coincidence or not but 3 out of 3 is a pretty good record.
I didn't say the loathsome Susie wasn't a "newbie"; but the twist that allowed Susie to pick who faced the vote had no real connection with her being new as such.

Calling her "loathsome" is an opinion, if you like.
Sandy took a big drop down the rankings last year, this year he basically stands still in the rankings. Possibly best remembered for weeing into the kitchen bin before escaping from the house.
Seems I gave Sandy his highest ranking, assuming my votes are being counted -- as they didn't seem to be for Alexandra.

Yes. What part of "secret" did she not understand? When she was on Couch Potatoes a few weeks back, we told her that BB had told Chris he was the secret power housemate and that there'd be serious consequences if he told anyone. She went quiet...for about 5 seconds...before changing the subject. Boy, can she talk! Dr Detroit hardly got a word in edgeways, lol.

What strikes me most about those stats is how many are left from bb10. It generally seems to be considered one of the poorer BBs, yet it has more of the "more popular houemates" than any other series.
I don't think that can just be put down to BB10 having so may HMs in total.
...
And someone I feel even sorrier for. Whatever did Govan do wrong? He was a bit of a gossip, a bit young for his age maybe, and not someone to confide your darkest secrets in, but he seemed a sweet young man to me.
...
To me, he seemed to enjoy bitching behind people's backs. The bitching reminded me of BB9's Luke. Luke himself, even commented on his Twitter page that people had said that there was a similarity with them both.
...
I don't really agree, which is why I used the expression 'liked a gossip' rather than 'bitched'. The bitchy group in that house was overwhelmingly the Ben/ Dave/ Mario group, who seemed made of pure teflon, the way they could sit and bitch for hours without criticism. The Govan/ Josie/ smokers group was gossipy and giggly rather than actually bitchy. At that stage, they hadn't really got anyone to bitch about until they fell out with Sunshine. And Govan was absolutely a follower, not a leader.
I have a disquieting feeling that the forum and voters are often pretty savage about men who don't strike them as particularly masculine; Tom in BB12 got some of the same visceral contempt on here. (I once counted the number of posts that called him a weasel, and it ran into the hundreds. Why? Because, it would seem, he was a bit small and a bit camp.) Govan never looked like a winner, but I hated his massively hostile eviction. He seemed a harmless, slightly silly young man to me.
...
.
For those wondering about Govan, I gave him his lowest ranking. Everyone bitches, but the way he did it just rubbed me up the wrong way. Zero empathy and all about himself. He took pleasure in it. He was a silly little boy, who hopefully has grown up a bit since leaving the house.
...
I think Wonkey is right that it was gossip, more than bitching.
But Govan had a peculiar -- and perhaps unique -- talent for seeming much more sly and bitchy than his actual words would suggest. He was poison, since it made the HM(s) he was talking with seem very sly and bitchy too. It was one of the reasons why Rachael was disliked and evicted, and it worked strongly against Shabby and Co too, once they began gossiping with him.
He also brought about one of the most strange, in a way quite dismaying, events in BB history: BB inventing a rule, and punishing HMs for "breaking" it, because of an outcry on the forums. Govan and Shabby were discussing who to save, or maybe who to use as the replacement, in the upcoming save and replace task, and for some reason Govan thought he had to be secretive and referred to Mario as "pasta" rather than using his name.
There was outrage in the forums that they weren't being punished, because people thought the rule against discussing nominations should apply, and Govan and Shabby were discussing who would face the vote. But BB explained that it didn't, because they weren't discussing nominations. Outrage continued. BB caved in and punished them for using a code.
However, there wasn't actually a general rule against using code. The rules that mention codes are about communication with the outside (which this wasn't) and discussing nominations (which this wasn't and BB had already said it wasn't).
Of course, BB can change the rules at any time, but BB didn't say they'd changed the rules, nor did they change the rules on the website. (Sneaking in a rule change without changing the website is what got them in trouble with the regulator when they let Nikki back. Really.)
Also, "codes" such as "Adams Family" had regularly been used in bb11 discussions that could have been considered violations of the rule against discussing nominations.
