I have a (legit) DVD - 'A Night At The Opera - Classic Albums' (PAL).
I put it onto a USB flash drive from my MacBook (VIDEO_TS folder was put on it for better playback), plugged it into my Samsung UE32D5520 TV and played it.
I think there are interlaced and progressive sections on it. The interlaced sections (e.g. music videos and concert clips) play at a rate of 25 (?), instead of 50.
It becomes fixed if I adjust the Picture Size.
I've tried both headed MPEG and VOB files.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it?
I contacted Samsung, but eventually after some emails, they told me about copyright and couldn't help me (I warned them initially, but didn't tell them what the DVD was), etc.
I would like to see it fixed, but I don't know of any other DVDs with mixed progressive/interlaced video that have this problem (copyrighted, or otherwise).
