    thats why i said "stick to"....its NOT COMPULSORY for a drink to HAVE to contain alcohol you know.

    The OPs body is not going to shut down if he does not get some alcohol...

    Well to be honest......I would say....whiskey or brandy in a shot but if you have other symptoms....like sinus symptoms...avoid the milk completely....it makes the sinuses thicken with mucus....

    You are better off gargling with alcohol or salt water than having an alcoholic drink....

    nothing fizzy, would suggest Baileys like others have, but I often find if I have a cold or anything a few drinks of anything will sort it out, but you'll feel even worse tomorrow!
