Lol wtf! Apparently she's headlining at The Arena.. on sunday.

I'm sorry but its ridiculous... what is she going to do sing live?

Just as well I haven't got my ticket because the line up is pretty bad.

Headline? Surely not? I shudder to think who else might be on the bill.

Performers at the 15th anniversary festival will also include Florence And The Machine, Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, The Kooks, Paul Weller and Paolo Nutini.

La Roux, Ellie Goulding, Pet Shop Boys, Madness, Editors, Mika, Groove Armada, The Charlatans, Goldfrapp, Kate Nash, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes and Pixie Lott are among the others on the bill. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Cole performed at the V Festival with Girls Aloud two years ago and in 2006

    Full line up: http://www.vfestival.com/lineup/index.html

She's also doing T in the park with the BEP.

And of course she'll mime, she can probably only sing one or two songs on her album live.

She'll mime, as usual, and wear very little to take the focus off her face so no one notices her way out of time lip sync. What else CAN she do.

Sounds more like a "Smash Hits Poll winners Party" than a festival, will they be serving pop and crisps?

I've just spent nearly the entire bleeding morning on line getting tickets through the advance Virgin release.

    She is an 'interesting' addition.

It'll all be about the big 'production' values rather than actual vocal ability.

One for the teenyboppers I would have thought, rather than a festival.

How low can V get? This is hilarious. Who the hell is going to pay to see this?

Kings of Leon and Kasabian are headlining, there's a few decent artists on the bill - and no, I'm not including Cheryl in that description :)

An old aquaintance on Facebook was screaming last night, made up that Cheryl Cole was going to V. Said it had made her day because she loves her so much.

I know different strokes for different folks etc... but I didn't know people went to festivals to see untalented bints like Cheryl Cole. I thought they went to hear "real" music...

Hmmm. Scraping the bottom of the barrel this year with some of their featured artists, certainly. Glad I'm not a festival girl :)

Jesus - they are just churning up the same old acts year after year now - the majority of those acts, if not all have played at at least one festival I have been to over the past 4 years!! I'd not be hurrying to see Cheryl, pity she wasn't playing Reading/Ledds - cause I think we'd have found this year's Daphne and Celeste!!

Can't remember which one it was, but it wasn't the normal pop ones, but I seem to recall Daphne and Celeste playing at one of the main festivals a few years back, and they had to cut their set short as they were pelted with bottles of urine and rotten fruit.

Edit: It was the Reading festival and it's on youtube

Can't say I blame the crowd!

She will get booed if she doesn't sing live.
I don't know why Cheryl takes these gigs on. She is a pop singer - Nothing wrong with that. She is not a musician.

Because there is no reason for her to be there.. she doesn't fit in.. and she will mime as usual.

I am sick and tired of untalented people reaping benefits because of pity.

You now what I am sick of, people who, because they dont like someone, calling them all the names under the sun.

Just because you dont like Cheryl it doesnt mean you are the voice of the people. She has fans, she has people who have bought her records and its got shit all to do with sympathy!

Lol! The music is extremely poor.. lol of course its pity and media manipulation with the 'Nation's Princess' foolishness. Not to mention, she already has the GA fans backing her.

Heidi Montag's album is better and she is a much much much better singer... and she doesn't have much if any talent.

If she does this festival, it will be back to reality.

I don't dislike Cheryl but in no way is she talented.
