What would the game show genre's next big thing be?

It's been almost ten years the last major game show hit was Deal or No Deal, since then shows in the teatime slot Pointless and The Chase have been successful but haven't been emulating the success of DOND.
What I would like for the game show genre's next big thing is instead of emulating the shows from the post-Millionaire era, it would have a back to basis approach.
It would make event TV, it doesn't have to be dragged out for the hour, it could be a Saturday night hit for ITV.
