There's 4 months 'til the ceremony, Paramore could release something by then.

Quite a lot of male candidates this year, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams, (might get another nod) Ben Howard, Jake Bugg? (newcomer?) Example, Professor Green, Richard Hawley, Labrinth, Alex Clare.

But the deadline is at the end of the this year so they have 7 weeks to release an album then.

I would also like to see the following perform

Final performance: Girls Aloud (medley of greatest hits)

Is this a p1sstake? Two things...1.the final performance is the outstanding contribution to music award winner (previous recipients include; Beatles, Queen, The Police, Elton John, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Bee Gees). Fifth rate karaoke acts unknown outside their own country do not apply. 2.medley of "greatest hits"... what hits?

I genuinely hope you were kidding.

Well to be honest I wasn't taking it that seriously, it's not a life or death decision is it

    Fair enough.

Out of curiousity i had a look at their "greatest" hits album, and confirms what i thought. They have never had a hit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sound_of_Girls_Aloud:_The_Greatest_Hits Three third rate covers of classic pop songs (Jump, I'll stand by you, I think we're alone now), and the rest pap. Even All Saints (with Never Ever) and Atomic Kitten (with Whole Again) had a hit. Outside the UK they are unknown because the songs are terrible. Without being launched on a tv show as well as the weakest singer in the group featuring in celeb mags due to beating up people in toilets and having a high profile marraige, they would have disappeared years ago.

Would be fiiting if the Rolling Stones were the last performers to celebrate 50 years.

As much as I love Paloma and Cee Lo Green (who closed the show last year) Girls Aloud have had more of an impact on the charts (in the UK)
