From tomorrow we will find out 100% what the prices are etc, and how if we are be able to watch via Hotbird or not.
From a couple of images floating about on the net over the last 24 hours, it could be that you will have to have a card paired with their own Humax box to be able to watch the channels.

& I think they'll be using 12476V on there but not near a system to check that 2nd one - just going off what's been moved off
they're there & obviously very strong plus there's that fec of 2/3 minus the dvb-s2/8psk
These images are just the Al Jazeera sat box that can be purchased in the Middle East. There is/was one for Abu Dhabi Sports package also - can see some of the AD Sports branding in the background of the second image. Can be picked up from any shop selling electrical items.
Had one last year for AD Sports, cost 999 dihrams and included a 12 month subscription to the AD Sports, Sky News HD and a few local channels.

Can't get a lock on these, nor on any of the other TPs that the JSC Sports channels are on (well, the free ones did lock at very low quality / heavily blocky).
Can you get them on Hotbird ok?
Yep, they scan in very strong on Hotbird. As to opening them, dunno, will try that later.

Well I can confirm those channels are certainly scanning on that freq on 13e.
Only HD1 & 2 showing anything.

Gone from 3E too. 7W only and much weaker than before (unless it's just the weather conditions at the moment).

For those using hotbird that sadly looks correct as apart from HD1 and HD2 those listed appear to be the only ones clearing on that satellite. Makes sense as +1 to +4 are only channels not to be used for Premier League coverage.
It is a shame for Hotbird subscribers that Al Jazeera Sports have got Premier League football now as it is was fantastic package as it was and now they appear to have lost most of it on that satellite because of it.

Nobody will buy a subscription if most all the channels will be available only on 7W and 7.3W.
I read that only from AJS +1 to +4 will remain on Hotbird.
Although HD3 to HD5 have been found, but just showing a blank screen.
SEWo not good news for us people on Hotbird as we getting less channels now!!!! :mad:
