McClaren will get some sort of decent team together. He's always been capable of that except with England. I think they'll do all right.

    Mbemba is a great player.

That said, I will settle for "all right" this year. :D

City have signed Otamendi for between 27 and 32 million.

Not seen him play much but supposedly had a very good season just gone and Copa America.

Looking strong at the back now.

Pedro to Chelsea is done, good signing for around £21m I believe.

Not sure he is the right signing for you guys to be honest. Reckon you should have persisted with Mangala and either given Denayer a chance as backup or signed a young backup option rather than spend 30-odd million on a 27 year old.

I don't think he was in the plans at the start of the window but the opportunity arose.

I'm pretty sure we will persist with Mangala but since we'll be playing upwards of 60 games this season 4 top top centre backs will be handy. Kompany is always good for an injury or two aswell through the season.

Balotelli heading back to AC Milan in move that apparently couldn't possibly have happened as no one would take him. Funny that.

I thought AC Milan already had a CF :confused::confused:

They should have gone for Berahino or Grant Holt.

Apparently they were after Holt, but he hung up on them when they phoned as he thought it was that kid pranking him again.

De Bruyne would take Navas's place but don't fancy Otamendi's chances in ousting Kompany or Mangala.

Yeh as has been said, navas. At the game yesterday and he got hooked at half time for Nasri.

Frustrating player Navas is, he's pretty good up until final ball or shot but does give us width.

I reckon Sterling, Silva and De Bruyne will be pretty interchangeable throughout games. Exciting front 4 anyway.

Navas reminds me of an over-energetic schoolkid. He will run you till you're black and blue.

In yesterday's game, his play may not have resulted in a goal but those Watford defenders got quite a work out.
