  the ending should have seen Joey go to LA for a lead in a major film...thus leading to the spin off "joey" with better writing and a different series altogether. Monica and Chandler leaving for there new life and Ross/Rachel/emma moving into Monica's old flat.
  
  I wish that there would be a few specials over the years but i think there more chance of The Sopranos returning.
