Songs you HATE by bands/singers you generally LOVE.

So are there any songs which you think are complete and utter rubbish by bands or singers that you love on the whole. There's usually at one song on every album that we all skip.

I'm quite a big Gaga fan and there isn't a song of hers I hate BUT one I always skip and wouldn't be bothered if I heard again is 'You & I'. In reality it's a pretty good song but I just don't like it. There's not even a line/verse that I prefer to the rest. I just don't like it at all.

Well I loved the Chic-produced work of sister Sledge and liked much of their other output but when Frankie came out I detested it. I still don't like it but I don't detest it nearly as much as a lot of stuff that charts now.

I love Donna Summer but completely ignored her Stock Aitken & Waterman period. They had a dreadful sound and have a lot to answer for.

Denise Lasalle has cut some good records but "My Toot Toot" (ooh err missus!) ain't one of them.

Get Sexy by Sugababes, loved every single up until that abomination was released, 4 years on it has grown a little on me

The Club Is Alive by JLS, why was that song ever thought about yet alone written, produced and released as a single?

I can't say I'm a huge fan of Beyonce but I do like some of her songs.

I just can't stand Girls Rule The World, what the hell was that?!
    The melody is so annoying!

    R.E.M. - Shiny Happy People.

Made worse by most people associating the band with this song and dismissing them as crap on that basis.

Yes, this is a good choice, I love R.E.M they have loads of great songs but that song is pretty annoying.

I used to like Maroon 5 (their debut album was good) but that Moves Like Jagger song really gets on my nerves, I can't say I'm very keen on their later output.

I think it's a great song with a sardonic edge by REM .It seems many people missed the point.

I detest 'Who The F**k" by PJ Harvey, one of my favourite female artists/songwriters. Goodness knows what she was thinking of by allowing that howler to be recorded.
