  But I love most genres, my other favourite songs are Mz Bratt - Falling Down(Rap), Falling Slowly (Folk/Musical), 2NE1 - I Love You (KPOP), Rihanna - S&M(Pop) and J.Cole - Workout (Rap/RnB).

  I like everything. I don't really do genres because I think you limit yourself to good music if you stick to one or two genres and no more than that.

  I used to be really into indie/rock type stuff - bands like Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand etc. But I kinda went off that stuff and moved towards pop a few years ago, mainly electro and dancey pop (Robyn/Ladytron/Cut Copy etc) and now as well as that, I'm a total dancehead - love house and techno, electro, progressive stuff, and been getting into trance recently as well. Also I love ambient/chillout and some experimental techno/dubstep too (not brostep)

  I don't really like one genre. If you look on my iPod, it ranges from Eminem to Miley Cyrus. Only six songs from the latter though, please forgive me.

  Vintage pop mostly, and indie style stuff. I try not to restrict myself to only listening to specific genres though as I find I like a bit of everything. Although I do hate country (unless it's heavily influenced by pop like Taylor Swift or Shania Twain) and can only listen to rap and hip-hop in VERY small doses...
  
  I love film soundtracks/scores too, and showtunes.

  I am quite mainstream: I love pop, rock, a bit of alternative rock, mainstream punk (I think it's more rock, but it's listed under punk on i-tunes)
  So for example: Pink, Linkin parc, vintage Britney Spears, One direction, Queen, Bon jovi, Bryan Adams, Adam Lambert (though he has a bit eletronic influence now, but still good), All american rejects, Blur, the Fray, Green day...
  
  Basically, I usually avoid R'nB, rap, electronic music... But there are of course a couple of songs that I like now and then^^
  I don't really know country that well, but from what I heard, it's not my thing.

  Most of the music I like has a dark edge to it. That's the best way I can sum up my musical taste.
  
  At the moment, I listen to a lot of synthpop and cabaret music. I also like bands that are on the dreamy side of indie pop/rock, industrial and EBM, some metal, lots of "alternative" electronic stuff, old indie pop stuff from when I was younger, classical music that's either very quiet or very loud, experimental guitar stuff, tango and fado songs.

  My favourite genre is metal (I like most subgenres of it; I'm only not fond of the more punk-based 'core' genres), but I also listen to a fair amount of rock, folk, electro, ambient and neoclassical and some hip-hop, among more 'alternative' stuff that I can't really classify and pop (only a couple of artists that chart here - I'm mainly into Europop and ethnopop).

  I wouldn't say i have an overriding taste but Alternative and Pop are the genres i return to the most.
  
  The only genre i cannot really abide is country i find it a little cheesey and over bearing
