Okay, I really am loving this now. Can someone tell me the lyrics to Siobhan's part in the beginning? I can't really understand the second line :o

    Hmm...to me it sounds like
"Don't say it no, please wait till it's over,
don't play us that song, put your guitar back down".

Okay, I think I found the lyrics. They sound pretty legit to me as well. I'll put them in a spoiler tag so they don't take up the whole thread :)
    Don't say it, no
    Please wait 'til we're sober
    Don't play a sad song
    Put your guitar back down

    The change was obvious
    So miscellaneous
We used to live it up
    Remember, baby?
But like a pack of cards
The king and queen of hearts
    All fall down

Stay gone darling, I won't hang on
    I can feel a flatline
    There oughta be a wave
Oh no darling, I can't hang on
    I can feel a flatline
    There oughta be a wave

    I know what I face
    This silence is deafening
    I know crying through pain
    Won't make it right
    Right, yeah

    The change was obvious
    So miscellaneous
We used to live it up
    Remember, baby?
But like a pack of cards
The king and queen of hearts
    All fall down

Stay gone darling, I won't hang on
    I can feel a flatline
    There oughta be a wave
Oh no darling, I can't hang on
    I can feel a flatline
    There oughta be a wave

    Oh baby
    I'm running every red light
    Oh, Jimmy
Holding on to me too tight
Evidently, we're never gonna make it home

I don't want to be in love

Oh no darling, I can't hang on
    I can feel a flatline
    There oughta be a wave
Stay gone darling, I won't hang on
    I can feel a flatline
    There oughta be a wave

    Stay gone
    Hang on
    There oughta be

It's not the best thing they've ever put their names to but I'm really enjoying it, definitely looking forward to hearing more from them.

I will say the track is a grower and after 3 listens I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!1

It's unique, fresh and originality all over it.

Way better then the garbage we have today: Kesha; Justine beavhead; Miley Cyrus; Cher L; One direction; Rihanna; Little Mix; Sugababes; flor rida and so on.

Hope it's a hit for the girls and hope their album goes well....just hope they play it smart promo wise, no delays and no fights.

    Loving the beats

P.s I think most were expecting above and beyond like over the top pop (Push the button), or early stuff (Overload). Sorry guys, but they have matured and grown up and artists have to evolve.

9/10 for the song....thought I agree the chorus needs more punch.

On my third listen now, it's a grower to say the least. Loving it now.

    They did a Google Hangout chat with some fans earlier;

Siobhan seems so bubbly and the leader of the group now:)

It's a good song and puts the girlbands that are out right now to shame. The most important thing is for Radio to get behind it. It will be a hit if it gets airplay.

They should have the video shot already and I really hope they bring forward the September 1st release date.
The whole campaign so far seems almost too lackadaisical. I hope it pays off in the end!

It's the usual 2 month of promo though. UK labels really should give on air / on sale another go, but oh well.

the ending reminds me of that olympics tune by underworld.... beautiful.... anyhow for this track.... refreshingly a staple return to the original sound but with a contemporary production...

I really love the song now, what strikes me is that it really is a Sugababes song, it sounds like something they would have done during the Taller In More Ways era, it totally fits them and their voices, I'll admit, I count Heidi as more of a Sugababe than Siobhan, but 2/3 from the perfect line-up is certainly better then what the current babes have got.
