On last night's Xtra Factor, Simon said that he had spoken to the contestants about the Winner's Single.

What do you think the Winner's Single will be? :D

    No idea, but obviously another damn ballad, and something that can be changed to suit all the contestants.

    Hope it's a good one, I liked last years one. It probably will be a ballad, but they have all been ballads.

    I was about to post a thread on this as someone posted on Wikipedia that it is Bic Runga's Sway. It's since been taken down but it would be an interesting choice

    And then I heard that Chris Martin was writing the song?

    Good lord please not a miley Cyrus song

    It would be nice to have a christmas song for a change, since it is going to be the christmas number one. When was the last time that christmas number one was actually a christmas song?

    The two rumors I've heard are that Chris Martin is writing a new one or that it's a Beatles song.
