The survey was carried out by Vision Critical for Fox Biscuits in October 2014. They also researched the cities most likely to perform certain good deeds.

Surprised about Glasgow and Edinburgh being in there !
You reminded me of what Kevin Bridges said where he commented on Glasgow being named the most violent UK city and then being named in a survey like this. He said if you go to Glasgow you've got a high chance of being stabbed but the attacker will then give you directions to the hospital.
