Oh dear , is this the end of the former daytime t.v. 'Royalty' ? They just won't go quietly will they ? I think they'll have to drag them out kicking and screaming .... http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/showbiz/94031/Richard-and-Judy-are-down-to-just-12000-viewers.html

It couldn't happen to two more deserving people.

They have been an embarrassment for years.

Can't imagine Doddery Jude wanting to queue up in a dole office.

Dickie Madeley would be right at home though. :D

Well I used to enjoy the series on C4 but have not watched anything of the New Position...perhaps others have the same attitude or R&J fans haven't got digital.

I take it they still bag £1m each for the series regardless of viewer figures?

Ratings for the C4 show were poor when they started but they steadily grew.

The same thing is going to happen for the new show (on at a more competitive time) on Watch.

Even though most of the nation is digital, we're still inclined to take more notice of the top 5 channels. This will all change.

The Caravan Show on Discovery Turbo pulls more than double their audience as 26,000 tune in to find out what’s new in the world of mobile homes.

    LOL! :D

I'm not surprised - The Caravan Show sounds like a riot. :p

I'm more shocked by the fact Dickie and Jude are still getting as many as 12,000 viewers.

Are you Pinch & Judy's agent?

The real problem is that they are on a fairly new satellite channel, not everybody has SKY, cable or freeview/freesat so low figures are to be expected. However it doesn't look good for the channel who decided to gamble on them pulling in viewers.

They went into this deal thinking the show would be a bigger draw than it actually turned out to be.

R&J's style of programming has become old and tedious.

Incidentally Chloe Madeley has a 'reporting' role on the show.

What made them go on watch anyway surley they knew they won't be attracting the 2million they were getting for c4 I sometimes watch R&J but I record it on sky and only if they have a guest that is interesting I think they should quit or go back to c4
