Does anybody know any good insurance companys for a u.s trip?

There are so many online and i don't want to get conned and get a rubbish one.

So any advice or any that people can recommend would be fantastic .

    Travel insurance companies are much a muchness really.

    I use LV, mainly because they don't bother with the fact that I take betablockers and prostate pills. But I also get a discount since both my car policies are with them.

    We used Columbus last time we went - as above, it was due to lack of issue around medical conditions.

    Bear in mind though, you don't *really* know how good your insurance is until you need to claim on it!

    Another volte for Columbus here. Very reasonable price for a lot of benefits.

    Always declare any pre-existing medical condition. Otherwise, you will not be covered in the event of a claim - and they check with your GP before paying out. In the US medical care is very expensive. It is better to pay a slightly higher premium than risk a claim being refused.
