She used to host the show Blind Date, big box office on ITV early Saturday evening a few years back.
This largely involved her asking the couples every week (after they came back from their "date") whether she should buy a hat, notwithstanding their almost complete lack of chemistry........ Come to think it, we may have seen a bit of that going on in the JJJ circus!

Good morning everyone. Sun shining - I've put out rubbish, sprayed olive tree (think it has a fungal disease), made lunch for o/h and caught up on the thread.
I am so that John has gone. He really packed quite a bit into his short stay. Hope he saw his family too. Wonder if he will be back. I still don't know what is going on really. At least we have some lovely pictures and tweets to keep us going. Thanks everyone who posted them.
I'm not speculating on what John does next. Somehow I still think he needs the security of his loys so would only come back long-term if one or more of them wants to stay here. My opinion only.
Well, must away - need to do the chores before the Olympics start - sorry that Becky Adlington only got a bronze. Hope she gets gold too. Fantastic work by the men and women's gymnastic teams. A real achievement.
I feel very lucky being able to support both the UK and the USA. Did anyone see Carl Lewis on Gaby Logan's program last night. He is one of my Olympic heroes.

You aren't! I have been doing chores in between the events - just watched Laura Robson squander a 5-1 lead in tennis. Off to take a shower and wash my hair before the gymnastics start - it's ridiculous, I've cancelled a physio and asthma check-up to watch the Olympics. Oh well, it is only for 2 weeks!
Wonder if John will be back or if Mario is just teasing us.
Oh dear:eek::eek: Wonder if that's why John has been wearing his cap non-stop? Other than the profile picture don't see any other pictures without his cap.

JJ posted this pic of John and him - no hat! So I think John's hair was still in good nick at the beginning of his visit. Of course - JJ may have been up to no good since - but mess with John's hair? - I think not...
