I'm sure Richard Burton and Richard Harris will have already got the drinks in before he arrives :-)

    RIP Peter O'Toole.

I am never shocked when anyone over 80 dies.

A great actor. Nominated 8 times for best actor oscar but never won...A record.

RIP Peter O'Toole a great actor and it was a shame he never won an oscar despite being nominated 8 times. 81 years of age is a good innings especially when you consider the amount of Alcohol he consumed. Condolences to his Friends and family.

There have been five so far, although not everyone in here will have heard of all of them. Lewis Collins, Jean Kent, Eleanor Parker, Audrey Totter and now Peter O'Toole.

There is a superstition that Show Business deaths go in three's, so the law of averages says there will be another before the end of the year.:(

Ah well, that's the triumvate of hellraisers back together again (Reed, Harris & O'Toole). There'll be a mother of a party tonight outside the pearly gates (they'll all get barred from the inner sanctum!). R.I.P., Peter. Goodbye.
