    While You Oughta Know was a success, Ironic performed very well and made Alanis Morissette one of the biggest sellers of the 90's.

    Video Games has given Lana Del Rey a great start to what could be an legendary career after a few failed attempts.

    Breakaway (the song) insured Kelly Clarkson's success with her next album, if it would have flopped in the US she would have been a one hit wonder.

    Saved her career?? are you serious, her first two albums sold more than 26,000,000 and The Damn Best Thing sold about half of what Under My Skin sold.

    Noah & The Whale- L.IF.E.G.O.E.S.O.N helped them on the map a bit, albeit two albums before "5 Years Time" was fairly popular.

    Snow Patrol- Run, people don't even know they had two excellent albums prior Final Straw.
