    For me the best smell in the world is dewberry perfume. Every time i smell this it takes me back to my early teens when i was just getting into girls. And one very special girl who broke my heart along with my left arm :)

    Long story cut short, she knocked me off my bike after i dumped her for cheating on my with some guy. Is it wrong that after writing this i find it's given me pleasure remembering how that guy gave her crabs, got her pregnant and then moved away six weeks later ?

    Methylated spirits.
    Petrol ( I was brought up with boats and 2 stoke outboard engines)
    Perfumes, aftershaves etc.
    Sea air.
    Burning wood/charcoal, wood with resin, firework smells etc.

    With the daddy (make wise) of outboard engines

    I had to google creosote and stroke. I've never heard of those before.

    That brings me to a smell I totally forgot about - paint/varnish/nail polish.
